This table is a general guide, not a guarantee of coverage. Your plan makes the final decision.

What affects the cost

  • The number and type of tests needed
  • How many testing sessions are required
  • Records review, scoring and report writing time
  • Whether school, medical or prior records must be obtained
  • Whether a feedback session or follow-up is included
  • Rush requests or additional paperwork

We do not quote a testing price before the diagnostic interview, because the tests are not known yet. We give a written estimate before testing begins.

Ways to pay

  • Cash, check or major credit card
  • Insurance for covered services
  • CareCredit financing for testing costs
  • Quick pay for an existing balance

You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate at any time.

Insurance questions

Do you take my insurance?

We work with most major plans, including the ones listed on this page. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so call us with your card information and we will check.

Why is testing self-pay?

Insurance often limits which tests are allowed or how many sessions are covered. Self-pay lets your provider use every measure the question calls for, without a plan deciding the battery.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

A written estimate of expected charges for self-pay services. You can ask for one at any time. We give one for the diagnostic interview and a new estimate for testing once the plan is set.

Do you offer payment plans?

CareCredit financing is available for testing costs. Ask our office about current options before you begin.

What if my claim is denied?

Read the explanation of benefits and ask why. You can ask our office for the information your plan needs. Appeals have deadlines, so do not wait.

Do you accept Medicaid?

We are listed with Texas Medicaid (TMHP) for initial evaluations and counseling. Comprehensive testing is self-pay. Call to confirm your specific plan.

Not sure what your plan covers?

Call us with your card in hand. We'll walk through the questions together and give you a written estimate when one is needed.
